George W Bush has become one of the latest celebrities to step up to the Ice Bucket Challenge and receive a drenching in the name of charity.
The ex-president was nominated by a host of names including 2014 Open champion Rory Mcllroy and even his own daughter, Jenna Bush Hager.
During the footage, Bush jokes that despite being nominated, getting splashed with ice water was "un-presidential" before having the bucket of cold liquid poured over him by his wife.
Following his drenching, Bush nominated another former president, Bill Clinton, who celebrated his birthday recently to take the challenge.
Bush joins a long and growing list of celebrities to have completed the Ice Bucket Challenge, which includes David Beckham, Robert Pattinson and Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
The challenge is designed to raise awareness through high profile names of issues relating to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
