Angela Stoldt distributed James Sheaffer's body parts around town with the help of her son, who thought he was helping her dispose of a dead deerA woman has been jailed for life after killing and dismembering her neighbour, then cooking his remains.
Angela Stoldt, 42, was found guilty of murdering James Sheaffer before cutting him into pieces.
Only 56 of the victim's bones were found - and his head has never been discovered - after Stoldt scattered the body parts around their Florida town with the help of her son, who believed he was helping his mother dispose of a dead deer.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that Stoldt met 36-year-old limo driver Mr Sheaffer at her house in Deltona, Florida, to discuss money problems on April 2 2013.
There she made him a cocktail of vodka, peach schnapps and muscle relaxants.
Once he began to react to the drugs, she took him to a cemetery where she said she would kill him if he didn't hand over cash.
She then attacked him with an ice pick, driving it into his eye, before strangling him with a cord.
She was found out after turning up at her parent's house feeling suicidal three weeks later, before confessing she had "put Jimmie where he belonged, in my opinion at the time."
Stoldt claimed that she killed Mr Sheaffer in self defence.
But the State Attorney RJ Larizza said: "The defendant's violent and bizarre criminal acts shock the conscience of the people of our community and beyond."
