Gongo aso crooner, Abolore Akande a.k.a 9ice, has declared his intention to run for the Ogbomosho North Federal Constituency seat in his home town in Oyo State, southwest Nigeria in 2015.
The singer turned politician who made the announcement on his Instagram page @iam9ice recently, did not indicate on which political party’s platform he intended to achieve his dream.
9ice had during an interview with Channels Television last year, said he will contest for a House of Representatives Position in 2015.
The father of three stated during the interview that he is currently enrolled in school in order to adequately prepare himself for political office.
