Despite the protests some countries have done, The president of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan has signed the bill that prevents two parties of the same sex from getting married. The Bill which prohibits same sex marriage states that:Those who have participated or are presently in a same sex marriage or relationship in Nigeria will risk a 14-year jail term if they do not retrace their steps and renounce such marriage.
