From good guy to bad guy...David Beckham ‘offered a role in new Matthew Vaughn Film.

David Beckham seems to have the world at his feet (literally)...
Representing Queen and country?  Check.  Looks to die for?  Check.  MILF missis?  Check.  Bulging bank account?  Check.  But now it seems, Becks has a Hollywood acting career to check off of his list as well...

We’ve seen him do the odd stint with Smithy aka James Corden in the aid of charity and banter and he previously starred in a short film directed by Guy Ritchie for his new bodywear range for H&M *faints - but now the mild-mannered family man has been approached to star in a new Matthew Vaughn film as a baddie!  Woah!
When he retired from footie (we still miss seeing those legs)...many tipped him to become the next big movie star – and now it looks like the sex-bomb might be on his way to blow up the big screen after all!  Yay!
The 38-year-old has reportedly been approached to star in the new Matthew Vaughn movie The Secret Service.  And it wasn’t Vaughn who asked him, but none other than Mr. Darcy aka Colin Firth, who thought he’d be perfect for the part.  We think you’re perfect too!
The film is based on a spy thriller novel by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, and stars Firth and Sir Michael Caine as superagents fighting a team of villains headed by Samuel L. Jackson.

Bend your career path like Beckham!

Speaking to The Sun, a source said:  “Becks was asked by Colin Firth if he’d like to be in the movie but he is yet to fully commit.  He loves movies and fancies appearing on the big screen – but just as a one-off, not a full-time career.”
An insider added: “Matthew feels having Becks on board will raise the profile of the movie to such heights, everyone will want to see it.”
However, Vaughn is apparently so confident that Becks will say yes that he has already had a villainous part written for him – time to brush up on your ‘I’ve been expecting you’ lines aye Becks?
Last year ledge film producer Harvey Weinstein told The Sun: “David can be anything he wants, including becoming a movie star.  He doesn’t need any advice from me, he can do anything he wants.”
The footballer has reportedly been bombarded with scripts since he announced his retirement from football, but is yet to make any firm decisions.
We can think of nothing better than tucking into a bag of Butterkist and seeing Becks on the big screen!  Nom, nom, nom.
