Tinsel star, Gbenro Ajibade, has been suspended from the show for failing to show up on set for a series of shoots which involved his character, Soji bankole. According to inside sources, he travelled to the U.S for the Africa Fashion Week New York where he featured as a model being fully aware of his pending role at Tinsel.
Another inside source involved in the production of the omnibus says, “Gbenro knew he had roles to play but categorically told us he was still going to travel.” It is not clear as to when exactly his suspension took effect.
